Bartonville changing its town notification system

The town of Bartonville is changing its system to notify residents to a variety of alerts and other information from the town.

Residents can now sign up for the “Notify Me” notification email and text messaging system, which lets residents know when new information is posted on the town website, according to the town.

You can choose to subscribe for meeting agendas, calendar items, news flashes and more, and have them sent your email address or cellphone in text messages.

The current notification system will be phased out by the end of January.
