High School Football Scores – Week 7

Flower Mound 40, L.D. Bell 10

Flower Mound picked up its first victory in district on Friday night, routing L.D. Bell.

Blake Short passed for 270 yards and three touchdowns, and Alec Brooks had two touchdown runs for the Jaguars.

Jake Welch was the top receiver for Flower Mound, catching four passes for 116 yards and a touchdown.

Flower Mound will host Hebron at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20.

Guyer 31, McKinney 14

Guyer won its second straight football game on Friday night, defeating McKinney by 17 points.

Kaedric Cobbs rushed for 124 yards and two touchdowns, and Luke Stillwell connected with Harrison Bohannon on a 63-yard touchdown pass to the lead the way for the Wildcats.

Guyer will host #1 ranked Allen at 7:30 p.m. on Friday Oct. 20.

Argyle 62, Decatur 21

The undefeated Eagles hammered Decatur in their district opener on Friday night.

Jon Copeland passed for 211 yards and three touchdowns and Don Williams rushed for 135 yards and two TD’s.

Defensively, Gage Campbell returned a fumble 91 yards for a touchdown for Argyle.

Argyle will host Gainesville for Homecoming at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20.

Allen 33, Marcus 10

 Marcus came up short on Friday night, losing to Allen by a score of 33-10.

Justin Dinka rushed for a 5-yard touchdown run and John Mayers kicked a 31-yard field goal, but the Marauders could not get much else going offensively.

Marcus will play Southlake Carroll at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20, in Southlake.

Liberty Christian 31, Parish Episcopal 26

Liberty Christian defeated Parish Episcopal Christian by 5 points on Friday night.

Andre Washington led the way offensively for the Warriors, rushing for 287 yards and three touchdowns.

Nate Hayden connected with Grant Sawyer on a 20-yard touchdown pass, and Cameron Butler drilled a 39-yard field goal.

Liberty Christian will host Trinity Christian-Addison at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20.
