Flower Mound residents will come together to clean up the community.
Keep Flower Mound Beautiful is again holding a Fall Trash Bash and Environmental Education Fair, set for Saturday, Sept. 23, from 8-11 a.m. The Environmental Education Fair will run from 10 a.m to 1 p.m.
Both events will be held in the Flower Mound High School parking lot, 3411 Peters Colony Road. All supplies for the clean-up and lunch will be provided.
The fair and clean-up are both free and will include activities for children, a shredding service for town residents by Shred-It, electronic waste collection sponsored by Best Buy, a lightly-used clothing and housewares drive by Christian Community Action, and various booths full of information on positive environmental practices, according to the town.
