‘Taste for Good’ offers gourmet experience to benefit local nonprofits

The Greater Argyle Chamber of Commerce is preparing for its gourmet food and drink fundraising experience, “Taste for Good.”

Event organizers invite the community to “come enjoy a tasting for our local eateries and sample many incredible spirits.” Classic rock cover band Good Therapy will perform, and guests can also try out cigars on the patio or try their luck at the casino tables.

Tickets for the event cost $50 each, and it will benefit local nonprofits such as Grace Like Rain ministries, Mission Moms, Briarwood Retreat Center, Ranch Hands Rescue, Cross Timbers YMCA and Liberty Christian School.

The event, presented by Point Bank, is scheduled for 6-9:30 p.m. Monday at Lantana Golf Club, 800 Golf Club Drive. Click here for for more information and to buy tickets.
