Flower Mound Police Blotter

The following was compiled from Flower Mound Police Department incident and arrest reports:

Just after midnight on Dec. 3, vandalism was reported in the 1100 block of Morriss Rd., where a vehicle’s tires were damaged.

On Dec. 4, four burglary of a vehicle reports were filed in the 5200 block of Long Prairie. One of the thefts involved theft of a firearm for a revolver worth $700

On Dec. 5, another three burglary of a vehicle reports were filed.

On Dec. 8, the theft of a $17,000 ring was reported in the 8100 block of Firestone Dr. A suspect was identified.

On Dec.10, at 12:43 p.m., a business in the 600 building in Parker Square reported a theft of a check in the amount of approximately $250,000.

Also on Dec. 10, at 12:47 p.m., $220 in cash was stolen in the 1000 block of Cross Timbers.

At 10 p.m. on Dec. 10 in the 4800 block of Neptune Ct., $1,200 in cash was stolen in addition to a red 2016 Corvette worth $88,000 and a silver 2012 Prius worth $12,000.

On Dec. 14, a tool worth $7,500 was reported stolen from a construction site in the 10400 block of Cross Timbers sometime during the weekend. Another business at the same site reported tools worth more than $20,800 had been stolen.

On Dec. 16, at 8:47 a.m., a grocery store in the 700 block of Cross Timbers reported the theft of $204 and $300 worth of meat.

Later that same day, at 8 p.m., a supermarket in the 2700 block of Cross Timbers reported the theft of $200 worth of beer.

At 9:41 p.m. on Dec. 18, a drug store in the 1100 block of Cross Timbers Rd. reported the theft of $552.61 worth of L’Oreal cosmetics.

On Dec. 20, at 4 p.m., a $350 Schwinn bike was reported stolen from a store in the 2700 block of Cross Timbers Rd.

At 9:46 p.m. on Dec. 20, theft of a vehicle of a MacBook computer worth $1,200, a FitBit worth $150, and other items were reported stolen in the 3600 block of Gaitland Cir.

On Dec. 21, a 2004 Buick LeSabre worth $7,000 was reported stolen from the 2000 block of Justin Rd.

On Christmas, at 11:35 p.m., a 22-inch Toro lawnmower was stolen from the 300 block of Crescent Oaks Dr. The mower was red.

Firearms were stolen from a home in the 400 block of Marlow Dr., on New Year’s Day at 3:30 p.m. Two Glock handguns and ammunition worth $1,000 were reported missing.

On Jan. 3 at 9 a.m., burglary of a vehicle was reported at a daycare facility in the 2600 block of Firewheel Dr. Two purses, cash and credit cards were taken, plus damage to the car was also reported.

Criminal mischief and vandalism valued at $1,000 was reported on Jan. 3 at 10 p.m. at a residence in the 3900 block of Dendron Dr.

On Jan. 4 at 9 a.m., burglary of a vehicle was reported in the 1400 block of Wood Creek Dr. Construction tools worth $1,000 were reported missing.

A pair of lace boots worth $135 were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 3800 block of Sunnyview Ln. on Jan. 4 at 4:50 p.m.

Suspects were identified in the theft and recovery of a variety of items valued under $100 at Academy Sports at 3621 Justin Rd., on Jan. 5 at 1:30 p.m.

A residence in the 3800 block of Cross Timbers Rd. reported the theft of $1,500 in cash on Jan. 5 at 4:12 p.m. A suspect was identified.

The Kroger store at 1101 Flower Mound Rd. reported the theft and recovery of $334 worth of grocery items at 3:30 a.m. on Jan. 6.

A student at Flower Mound High School reported the theft of an iPad worth $474 on Jan. 6 at 4 p.m. A suspect was identified.

At 4:40 p.m. on Jan. 6, the Tom Thumb store at 745 Cross Timbers Rd. reported the theft of hair care products worth $125. At 6 p.m., two steaks worth $56 were stolen. In addition, the Starbucks stand inside the store reported the theft of items worth $120.

Also on Jan. 6 at 9:25 p.m., the Flower Mound Police Department at 4150 Kirkpatrick Ln. reported $250 worth of vandalism and damage to its jail. A suspect was identified.

On Jan. 10 at noon, a residence in the 4200 block of Auburn Dr. reported $1,000 worth of vandalism.

At 1:30 p.m. on Jan 10, the Target store at 5959 Long Prairie Rd. reported the theft of $700 in electronics and two NFL blankets worth $66.

A student at Marcus High School reported the theft of $330 in cash at 4:10 p.m. on Jan. 12.

On Jan. 13 at 8:30 a.m., a person at LISD Administration, 1800 Timber Creek Rd., reported the theft of an iPad worth $600.

The Kroger store at 2709 Cross Timbers Rd., reported the theft of items worth $920 on Jan. 13 at 5:20 p.m.

Vandalism worth $700 was reported at Town Hall, 2121 Cross Timbers Rd., on Jan. 14 at 3:05 a.m.

On Jan. 14 at 11:30 p.m., a 2014 white Chrysler sustained $500 in damage during the burglary of a vehicle in a parking lot in 3300 block of Cross Timbers Rd. Stolen was $150 in cash and some drugs. Ten minutes later, a burglary of a vehicle was reported in the 4100 block of Long Prairie Rd. Taken was a designer purse, $180 in cash and several credit cards.

$1,500 worth of vandalism to a vehicle was reported on Jan. 16 at 3 p.m. in the 2800 block of Flower Mound Rd.

At 9:15 p.m., Tom Thumb grocery reported the recovery of 13 stolen items on Jan. 16.

The Kroger store at 2709 Cross Timbers Rd., reported the theft of 47 containers of Similac worth $1,222 on Jan. 18 at 5:30 p.m.

On Jan. 20 at 9 a.m., an iPad, its case and earbuds were reported stolen at Flower Mound High School.

A customer at the Wing Stop, 2608 Flower Mound Rd., reported the theft of a Samsung cell phone at 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 20.

On Jan. 20 at 4:15 p.m., a suspect was identified in the theft of $140 in food items from the Subway at 2221 Justin Rd.

On Jan. 21 at 4:15 p.m., an investigation was conducted following the third report of the vandalism of a bronze statue of an Elk and accessories valued at $2,300 in the 5200 block of Sun Meadow Dr. The homeowner reported that a landscaped retaining wall would need to be repaired. Tire tracks for an all-terrain-type vehicle were photographed and a neighbor reported juveniles living in the neighborhood have been seen riding such vehicles. The victim said her husband had installed a camera as a deterrent, but hadn’t hooked it up.
