Wet and cold weather will be the rule this weekend.
A powerful upper level storm system will slowly move across North Texas through Monday.
Rain chances will increase Friday with the best chances arriving late Sunday and Sunday night.
Before it’s all said and done, up to 3 inches of rain could fall in Denton County, bringing a risk of localized flooding.
Temperatures will top out only in the 40’s on Friday and Saturday. We should bounce back to the 60’s on Sunday and Monday under rainy skies.
