Foodie Friday: Expand your eating horizons at Prime Farm to Table

If you’re looking for a local restaurant that will get you out of your mundane eating routine, we’d absolutely suggest you visit Flower Mound’s Prime Farm to Table where you can enjoy the creative menu thought up by Chef and Owner Chris Flahaven.

Every time I go to Prime Farm to Table, Chef Chris always introduces me to a new food – whether it’s Onset Massachusetts Oysters or Blue Marlin.

Chef Chris grew up on the East Coast, so he loves introducing his customers to foods (especially sea foods) they’ve probably never encountered before. And he prepares all of it masterfully.

And each time you visit Prime Farm to Table, Chef Chris and his staff have some new incredible dish to introduce you to, as he’s always innovating based on whatever fresh ingredients he currently has in his kitchen. I love that he’s always creating and always changing. It makes being a regular customer all that more fun!

Because of his creativity, Chef Chris and his staff are also well-equipped to handle any dietary restrictions or food allergies that you may have. Which I know makes this a great restaurant option for many of you out there.

No matter the time of year, Chef Chris says his best-sellers are always his unique fish selections and his rib-eye steak.

Here’s some of the items on Chef Chris’s latest menu that I’ve really enjoyed as I’ve visited in the last month or so. These are some of his menu staples and are all made with locally-sourced ingredients to provide customers with the best and freshest dining experience.

We started out with their Local Cheese Board which comes served with apple and blackberry chutney as well as the Roasted Black Figs stuffed with Gorgonzola.

I love their Local Green Salad which consists of roasted beets, cucumber, Marcona almonds, feta cheese & a lime-mint dressing. I love a salad that has beets in it and the roast on these beets really brought out the flavor and made them extremely tender.

And one of their most popular current menu items is their Grilled Dry Aged Duroc Long Bone Pork Chop – which was delicious! I definitely understand why it’s one of their most popular dishes.

You all know if there’s a Creme Brulee on the menu, I always have to end my meal with it, and I love finishing my meal at Prime Farm to Table with their French Vanilla-Cardamom Creme Brulee. It has the perfect sugary crust and creamy center with incredible flavors from the vanilla and cardamom.

Any time I step food in Prime Farm to Table, I always experience incredible service and outstanding food. I love that Chef Chris is always stretching me out of my comfort zone but has some traditional favorites I can rely on as well. It’s like one big happy family at Prime Farm to Table and I’m so happy to have them right here in our community.

And I know that there are many of you out there who are also already big fans of Prime Farm to Table because every time I visit them, I run into at least a few people I know. Which I guess means we all have fantastic taste!

In fact, the last time I was there a couple of weeks ago, I ran into some of our clients we sold a home to earlier this year which was a fun surprise!

Make it a point to enjoy a meal at Prime Farm to Table in the next week – and maybe even find ways to expand your eating horizons a little bit! Chef Chris and his staff will not lead you astray, I promise!
