On Aug. 2 at 6:45 a.m., the burglary of a building under construction in the 4000 block of Long Prairie Rd. was reported. Various small construction items and tools worth under $300 were reported stolen and suspects were identified.

At 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 2, theft of property from the 1200 block of Lakeside Pkwy. was reported. In addition to a stolen 2015 van valued at $25,000, about 100 various items worth a total of $400,000 were stolen.

Also on Aug. 2, a residential theft was reported at 6:15 p.m. Included with a $50,000 Ford vehicle were a $100 Coach purse, $300 Maui Jim sunglasses and several credit cards.

On Aug 3 at 8:30 a.m., a burglary of a vehicle was reported in the 2200 block of Heather Ridge Dr. A laptop computer worth $1,500, $100 in cash and other items were reported stolen.

At 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 3, a gold ring valued at $2,500 was stolen in the 5300 block of Colonial Dr.

In the early hours of Aug. 4, the burglary of a vehicle was reported in the 1900 block of Meadowbrook Ln. Various clothing and jewelry items worth $450 were reported stolen.

The Radio Shack at 2608 Flower Mound Rd. reported a burglary on Aug. 4. Several cell phones, tablets, dash cam, ear phones worth approximately $7,500 and $100 cash was stolen.

On Aug. 4 at 1:35 p.m., a vehicle burglary was reported in the 2700 block of Lismore Dr. A designer purse and credit cards were stolen.

A Smith & Wesson .22 gun and holster were stolen from a vehicle in the 3400 block of Bradford Dr. as reported at 3:30 p.m., on Aug. 4.

At 6:45 p.m., on Aug. 4, a cell phone was stolen from a shopper’s purse inside Kohl’s at 2501 Cross Timbers Rd.

The Whip In convenience store at 2240 Morriss Rd. reported the theft of a Coin Vault worth $800 and $200 in cash on Aug.7 at 1:45 p.m.

On Aug. 9 at 12:45 p.m., the burglary of a home in the 2300 block of Waterford Dr. was reported. Taken was a $1,000 computer and $1,950 in cash. A suspect was identified.

On Aug. 10 at 11 a.m., a worker at a construction site in the 1800 block of Estes Dr. reported the theft of equipment worth $1,926.

A landscaping service reported property theft worth $900 in the 1700 block of Lakeside Pkwy. on Aug. 11 at 1 p.m.

On Aug. 11 at 10:30 p.m., a suspect was identified in a home burglary in the 5200 block of Long Prairie Rd. Taken were three cell phones, an Xbox system and Oakley sunglasses.

On Aug. 12 at 4 p.m., the Target store at 5959 Long Prairie Rd. reported the theft of four notebook computers valued at more than $800.

On Aug. 13 at 7:15 p.m., a report of the theft of $2,400 in cash from a residence in the 6200 block of Eagle Creek Dr. was filed. A suspect was identified.

At 9 p.m. on Aug. 13, the Academy Sports store at 3621 Justin Rd. reported the theft of a Yeti cooler worth $350.

On Aug. 14 at 9:30 a.m., a report of vandalism to property worth $1,000 in the 600 block of Paisley Dr. was filed.

An iPad worth $400 and a tennis bracelet valued at $1,000 was reported stolen from a residence in the 2200 block of College Pkwy on Aug. 14 at 11:30 p.m.

On Aug. 16 at 5:40 a.m. the burglary of a Dodge Ram in the 6400 block of Prairie Brush Trl. was reported. Taken was a Glock 27 9MM handgun; it was recovered at 10:10 a.m. Several lots down Prairie Brush Trl, a vehicle had $55 in cash reported stolen at 6:10 a.m. and another resident reported the theft of Beats headphones, which were recovered.

Also on Aug. 16 at 6:30 a.m., five separate residences in the 6300 block of Cedar Sage Trl. had various items stolen, some of which were recovered. Multiple cars were also reported as having been broken in to, but items weren’t listed.

A vehicle in the 2400 block of Magnolia Leaf Ln. was reported as burglarized on Aug. 16 at 8:25 a.m. Two pairs of sunglasses worth $550 were reported stolen.

A pair of cameo earrings were reported as stolen from a vehicle in the 10000 block of Autumn Leaf Ct. at 8 p.m. on Aug. 16.

On Aug. 17 at 2:20 p.m., a report of Point Blank Level 3 armored vests worth $700 being stolen from a residence in the 1100 block of Prospect Dr. was taken.

On Aug. 17 at 4:25 p.m., the Belk store at 5801 Long Prairie Rd reported the theft of 90 blue Polo shirts worth $8,100 and 40 gray Polo shirts worth $2,000

On Aug. 17 at 4:35 p.m., the vandalism of a 2012 Chevy Suburban was reported in the Tom Thumb lot at 4301 Cross Timbers Rd. A mirror and door window totaling $600 were damaged.

At 6 p.m. on Aug. 17, the Tom Thumb at 2600 Flower Mound Rd. reported the theft of 12 audio items worth $240.

On Aug. 18 at 2:30 p.m., a suspect was identified for the theft of 165 doses of Oxycodone worth $289 from a customer in the Tom Thumb at 745 Cross Timbers Rd.

A residence in the 3400 block of Ridgecrest Dr. was the scene of the theft of a Sony radio worth $700 on Aug. 18 at 10:30 p.m. A suspect was identified.

On Aug. 19 at 8:30 a.m., the burglary of a vehicle involving a purse and credit card abuse occurred in the 1100 block of Flower Mound Rd.

On Aug. 20 at 6:15 p.m., a purse worth $150 with a cell phone valued at $650 was stolen from the Grand Cleaners at 1900 Garden Ridge Blvd.

A Beretta PX4 Storm gun worth $600 was reported stolen at 9 p.m. on Aug. 20 in the 4700 block of Prescott Dr. A suspect was identified.

On Aug. 21 at 5 p.m., the Northshore Marina reported a variety of items totaling about $1,000 was stolen.

On Aug. 23 at 8:50 a.m., a 2015 Ford van worth $50,000 was reported as stolen in the 1200 block of Lakeside Pkwy.

The Target store at 5959 Long Prairie Rd. reported the theft of multiple electronic items worth $400 by a heavyset white female on Aug. 24 at 11 a.m.

On Aug. 26 at 4:15 p.m., the theft of 14 jewelry pieces worth approximately $18,400 was reported from a residence in the 1300 block of River Oaks Dr. A suspect was identified.

On Aug. 26 at 4 p.m., the Target store at 5959 Long Prairie Rd. reported the theft of a Shark upright vacuum worth $220, plus a gift card for $183. Two suspects were identified.
