Trio of new eateries on horizon

Flower Mound will soon welcome three new restaurants.

Urbano Enchilada Taco Bar will open Monday at 11 a.m. in the Pines of Flower Mound shopping center on the southwest corner of Flower Mound and Gerault roads. The industrial-styled eatery specializes in craft tacos and enchiladas, and offers an array of margaritas. Urbano’s owners, David and Lynne Cerda, previously owned and operated Mi Sueño Tex-Mex in Bartonville Town Center.

Taco Brone is finishing out construction at 930 Parker Square in the old Ellie’s Cantina space and is expected to open by the end of August. The taqueria will feature high quality tacos and beer on tap.

Italian eatery Mio Nonno has been announced to land at the Shops at Lakeside DFW. The grill will serve up chef-driven traditional Central and Southern Italian recipes, like wood-fired pizzas and homemade pasta. An opening date has not been announced.
