Foodie Friday: Catching up with Burgers & Brats

I love visiting new restaurants that open up in our area, but there’s also something fun about visiting some of our old favorites. And since a delicious burger sounded great to our team this week, we headed back to Burgers & Brats here in Flower Mound.

We first heard about Burgers & Brats from one of our other Foodie Friday restaurant owners and decided that if it was good enough for him, it was good enough for us! And it certainly was delicious.

You get that local burger-joint feeling from the moment you walk inside Burgers & Brats, with its cozy seating area and the grill right out where everyone can see it. I love feeling like you’re in a small-town local restaurant while still being right in the middle of Flower Mound.

I have such a hard time choosing what to order every time I eat at Burgers & Brats because everything on their menu sounds so mouth-watering! They offer a wide array of options including several types of German style pork and beef sausages for all you brat enthusiasts out there. And it all comes straight from Fischer’s German Meat Market in the German town of Muenster, Texas.

The burgers are absolutely delicious as well! I watched them make our order from start to finish – using a 1/2-pound of high-quality beef, seasoned to perfection. Plus there’s a wide array of tasty ingredients to top those burgers, including bacon, mushrooms, chili, jalapenos, guacamole, BBQ sauce and zesty mayo.

Today I went with their Road Rage burger again which is sprinkled with cayenne pepper and is topped with pepperjack cheese and jalapenos. We also ordered the Long & Winding Road with bacon crumbles, sauteed mushrooms and onions and the Speed Bump burger with bacon crumbles, chopped onions, cheddar cheese and smoky BBQ sauce.

The flavors in all of our dishes were incredible and we were all completely satisfied by the end of the meal.

So, if you’re looking for an authentic-feeling burger joint to chow down at this weekend, head on over to Burgers & Brats. With so many great menu options, you’re sure to find the perfect fit for you – whether you want a burger with some spice, a chicken sandwich, delicious German brats or a veggie burger.

Hope you all go forth and eat well this weekend, Foodies!
