Double Oak Women’s Club raises $5,500 for fire department

After a successful auction in November, the Double Oak Women’s Club presented a donation of $5,500 to the Double Oak Volunteer Fire Department at the club’s Holiday Potluck Dinner meeting in December. Pictured are Double Oak firefighters Scott Wisenhunt and Bob Bowen (who auctioneered for the event) with DOWC Community Service Chairwoman Kathy Shake and President Donna Gilliam.
