A felony warrant for Custodial Interference was issued for Mills on Dec. 7, 2015. The charge dates back to May 9; the last day she and her sons, Gavin Hohenberger, 4, and Colton Hohenberger, 2, were seen. Mills is the boys’ non-custodial parent. The boys’ paternal grandfather is Chief Hohenberger.
Both boys are listed as being biracial (Hispanic) and have information posters on the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) site: #125273 for Gavin, born on Sept. 29, 2011, weighing 50-pounds at 3-feet tall, with brown hair and eyes; #1251273 for Colton, born on July 2, 2013, weighing 35-pounds at 2-feet, 6-inches, with brown hair and eyes.
Their father, Bret Hohenberger of Copper Canyon, now living in Dallas, appeared on the Dec. 10 news broadcast of the local CBS affiliate, Channel 11. He asked viewers to be on the lookout for his girlfriend and their children.
