The Argyle Municipal Court is offering an amnesty program for anyone with outstanding Argyle warrants beginning today and running through November 25th.

Most traffic and non-traffic citations that became delinquent on or before July 25th will be eligible for the program which will include discounted fines and dismissals.

Previously adjudicated cases are not eligible for the discount program, officials said.

Court officials encourage anyone who has delinquent court matters to take advantage of the program to resolve the cases at a discounted rate.

“For defendants with outstanding citations the program will provide the opportunity to resolve your case saving a significant amount of money and, potentially, the dismissal of your case,” Court Clerk Terri Neal said.

“The court is available to answer any questions related to the program for interested individuals,” Neal said.

Citizens that do not take care of their citations by November 25th risk being arrested and incurring additional fees.
