UPDATE:  Due to predicted rainy conditions, Thursday night’s performance is being moved to the Moviehouse & Eatery. Performances will still start at the same time – Shades of Blue and Azure 7:30 to 8 p.m. & The Princeton Nassoons from 8 to 9 p.m.

ORIGINAL STORY: On Thursday evening, November 5th, Lakeside DFW in Flower Mound is hosting its first free musical event welcoming the world-renowned a cappella group, The Princeton Nassoons, from Princeton University and the Flower Mound High School choirs, Shades of Blue and Azure.

The music begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Lakeside Plaza located in front of Moviehouse & Eatery.  Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy this free concert.  There will be food trucks including The Great Australian Meat Pie Company and The Guava Tree Truck available for food and drink purchases.

The twelve-member Princeton Nassoons are one of the World’s finest collegiate a capella ensembles performing their signature four-, five-, and six-part harmonies around the world for U.S. Presidents and royalty and have been featured on Good Morning America and The Tonight Show.

Opening for The Princeton Nassoons will be the Flower Mound High School choirs, Shades of Blue and Azure.  These choirs have garnered awards such as “Best of Class” and “Grand Champion” in local and national competitions and are directed by Mark Rohwer Ph.D. and co-directed by Lindsay Swartwood.

The Lakeside DFW Entertainment Venue is located in front of Moviehouse & Eatery at 2400 Lakeside Parkway in Flower Mound.
