Flower Mound’s 12th annual Dorothy’s Dash 5K, presented by Kroger, is set for Saturday, November 14, at Flower Mound High School.
This event honors former Flower Mound employee, Dorothy Walkup, who lost her battle with Multiple Sclerosis in 2004, and raises funds to combat this terrible disease.
Registration is open for all races, including the 5K, kids 5K, and groups (10+ racers), online at www.flower-mound.com/dorothysdash. The website also provides the event schedule, race routes, volunteer opportunities, and the awards that will be given out in a variety of age categories.
New this year is group awards to teams who illustrate “best fashion” in their race attire, and “most spirited” in their cheering and encouragement to race participants.
This year, the event is sponsored by Credit Union of Texas, Root Periodontal and Implant Center, Groggy Dog, Renfrow Realty Group, Raising Cane’s, UFC Gym, The Vitamin Shoppe, and Taylor Olson Adkins Sralla Elam Attorneys and Counselors.
