UPDATE: All lanes are now open on I35E northbound. Traffic may still be backed up on the highway and cut-through roads.
UPDATE: The two left lanes of I35E at Garden Ridge Blvd. remain closed, but one lane of traffic is open.
UPDATE: I35E northbound at Lewisville Lake has been shut down completely at this time due to a reported 18-wheeler wreck. The closure is expected to last several hours.
ORIGINAL POST: In case you use Garden Ridge Blvd to cut through Lewisville from I35E →→ An accident on NB 35E just north of Garden Ridge has been reported. This isn’t far from Highland Village.
Early info says there’s a fuel and hydraulic oil spill on the roadway and Hazmat is working at the scene.
Traffic is backing up with one lane moving — slowly.
