FM 2499 and area roads reopened as floodwaters recede

According to the Town of Flower Mound, all lanes of FM 2499 that had been closed due to flooding are now open.

After inspecting the road and Denton Creek bridge, the Texas Department of Transportation moved the barricades on FM 2499 around 8 p.m. on Wednesday.

Silveron, Gerault and the Flyover are also open at FM 2499, according to town officials.
