DCTA highland village stationIf you take the A-train to or from work or school, you’ll need to find another route today.

The Denton County Transportation Authority is again suspending service and will partially suspend service on Tuesday, due to flooding in the area.

Today, all standard bus service will go on as scheduled. Two bus bridge services will help alleviate inconvenience of the train suspension. They will be located:

  •                 A southbound and northbound express bus bridge will offer service from the Downtown Denton Transit Center and MedPark Station, to Trinity Mills Station.
  •                 A southbound and northbound local bus bridge will service all A-train rail stations from the Downtown Denton Transit Center to the Trinity Mills Station.

On Tuesday, DCTA standard bus service will offer scheduled service. A southbound and northbound bus bridge will service Old Town Station in Lewisville to the Trinity Mills Station in Carrollton.

Bus bridge services will continue until notice is given. High water conditions will be monitored and any necessary safety measures will be taken to protect passengers and DCTA employees.
