CTDI in Flower Mound to expand

Celebrating its 40th anniversary, CTDI Global Engineering, Repair & Logistics is looking to expand and hire at its Flower Mound facility with plans to lease another 120,000 square feet of space, said Flower Mound Town Manager Jimmy Stathatos during Monday’s town council meeting.

CTDI currently owns its Flower Mound facility at 701 Lakeside Parkway, which employs about 681 people, Stathatos said. The company opened its Flower Mound location in October 2009.

“It’s a lot easier to retain a company than to recruit one,” Stathatos said to council members.

Councilmember Steve Dixon echoed the sentiment, adding that CTDI serves as an example of growing Flower Mound industry with its ownership of the existing business and plans to add more space.

CTDI, which has its worldwide headquarters in West Chester, Pennsylvania, has more than 7,500 employees in 70 facilities around the world.

Founded in 1975, CTDI provides services to major wireline and wireless telecom carriers, cable service providers and other major original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
