Pictures that were taken at the Argyle Senior Western Day Luncheon were put in a Valentine card with the caption: “I want to be a Cowboy’s Sweetheart.”
After a delicious lunch of chicken & dumplings furnished by the Argyle Police Department the seniors played a conversation card game “Heart to Heart”.
Our newest member Steve Hibdon’s card read, “What words from a love song do you remember? Sing it.” Steve sang Unchained Melody.
Our next luncheon will be Friday, March 20, and the theme is St Patrick’s Day, so wear your green. Everyone is asked to bring a covered dish.
The seniors meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10 a.m. to exercise and at 11 a.m. to play games.
Every Thursday at 5 p.m., some of the seniors meet at the home of Stella McDaniel to play Hand & Foot. All seniors are invited to come and play with us.
