Post Ad – Top

Freezing rain, sleet and snow fell across southern Denton County last night, coating trees, power lines and roads.

Snowfall totals ranged from the official 3.5 inches of snow at DFW Airport to 7 inches in Grapevine and 2 inches in Argyle. Snowfall reports ranged from 3 to 5 inches in Flower Mound. A total of 3.5 inches was reported in Highland Village.

Rain that began during the day Wednesday changed over to freezing rain, sleet and snow as an arctic cold front dropped temperatures below freezing around 5 p.m. yesterday.

The high today is expected to be 35 degrees with a low tonight of 21 degrees.
