According to the National Weather Service, snow is expected from late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning in Denton County. Accumulations of 2-4 inches are expected with locally higher amounts possible.
Denton County is part of a Winter Storm Watch, covering Dallas-Fort Worth and counties to the north and east.
The forecast for snow follows yesterday’s sleet shower, where an estimated half inch of sleet covered area roads.
