Coming off a state championship win in October, the Liberty Christian School Varsity Cheerleaders won second place at the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders National Championship in the “High School Intermediate” division at AT&T Stadium.

Coach Stephanie Jones said, “I am so proud of our cheerleaders and their hard work, commitment, and dedication to our program.

“They have made huge strides individually and as a team. We are all very excited to see this team progress over the next few years.”

Coach Jones said the team put in a lot of hours of practice over the past few months to prepare for this competition.

“It was great for our cheerleaders to get additional competition experience under their belt to help develop our competitive program,” she said.

“They’ve done a great job this year coming together as a team to reach their goals.”
