During an update at the Flower Mound Town Council Monday, Realty Capital with Lakeside DFW announced several family-owned restaurants and other businesses expected to begin opening in the first half of 2015.

Located at Lakeside Parkway and FM2499, The Shops at Lakeside will include a mix of restaurants, entertainment, outdoor dining, retail and neighborhood services.

An estimated 76 percent of just more than 90,000 square feet of commercial property has been leased to date.

Among the businesses slated for Lakeside DFW are: Carvao Prime Brazilian Steakhouse, Paradise Bistro and Coffee Co., Taverna Del Lago, Bottle & Bottega, Elite Pups Luxury Dog Daycare & Spa, Majestic Nail Spa, The Lodge Barbershop, Amber Michelle Salon, Engel & Olkers and State Farm Insurance Tammy Edwards Agency.

The development had already announced the Moviehouse & Eatery dine-in movie theater, which is currently under construction.

The restaurants are all family-owned, officials said.

Carvao Prime Brazilian Steakhouse offers 14 cuts of fire-roasted meats and served the traditional Brazilian Way. The eatery also offers a salad bar with more than 20 items from smoked salmon to hearts of palm, artichoke and fresh mozzarella.

Paradise Bistro and Coffee Co. will be a neighborhood bistro open for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as offering a Sunday brunch with handcrafted espresso. The restaurant will be the second location for the family-owned operation.

Taverna Del Lago will have small and large plate offerings from Europe, Asia and Africa as well as stove-fired pizzas. The bar will offer specialty bourbons and 50 craft beers, many from Texas.

Elite Pups Luxury Dog Daycare & Spa will offer five-star pampering to help keep pets healthy and offering grooming, spa treatments, pet sitting and walking and party planning.

Majestic Nail Spa is a full-service salon with 12 locations including Mockingbird Station and Inwood Village in Dallas.

More businesses to come include a third restaurant anchor, a coffee shop, mini-market, fast-casual restaurants, boutiques and service office.
