Bunn Gourley East public hearing scheduled for Monday

The Flower Mound Town Council will hold a public hearing on Monday night to consider a request to remove an estimated 152 acres from the Cross Timbers Conservation Development District.

Council members will decide the fate of a Master Plan Amendment for the Bunn Gourley East tract to change the current land use designation from Cross Timbers Conservation Development District to Medium Density Residential and Retail.

The property is located south of FM 1171 and east of Flower Mound Road. New homes on smaller lots and a shopping center are proposed.

The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval by a vote of 4 to 2 at its October 13 meeting.  Read more here.

The public hearing will take place during the regular town council meeting Monday night at 6 p.m. at Flower Mound Town Hall, 2121 Cross Timbers Road.
