An estimated 15 percent of the registered voters in Denton County have cast early ballots for the upcoming election on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
Today is the last day for early voting which has already drawn 62,857 voters to polls since starting last week on Monday, Oct. 20.

Denton County has a total of 409,334 registered voters, according to the Denton County Elections Administration.
Records show a larger number of people turned out to cast ballots in the second week of early voting.
Polls will remain open at early voting sites until 7 p.m. today.
