Denton County Sheriff’s Office and other local law enforcement will trade handcuffs for aprons as they serve residents from 5 to 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 6 at On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina in Denton.
The officers will be accepting donations for the Peace Officer’s Angels Foundation which helps to support injured law enforcement officers and their families.
On hand will be Josh Godi, a deputy who was injured in the line of duty in July 2012.
The restaurant is located at 2839 S. Interstate 35E in Denton.
