The Shops at Highland Village is planning its first “Sip, Shop & Serve” event, presented by Park Place Lexus of Grapevine fron 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
The event offers exclusive in-store promotions, gift with purchase opportunities, goody-filled shopping bags and complimentary wine tasting. A recommended $10 donation provides event access and all proceeds will be donated to Communities in Schools of North Texas, The Shops at
Highland Village’s charitable partner.
The public is invited to participate in a wine stroll, which is complimentary for the first 300 patrons. Wine tastings stations will be located in The Shops at Highland Village’s retailers including Luke’s Locker, LOFT, Megan’s Lifestyle Boutique, Flour Shop Bakery and Lucy Voss.
Outdoor entertainment including a photo booth with props, fashion sketch artist, living vine stilt walker, strolling accordion player and strolling magician.
Several participating retailers will be donating a percentage of sales to the charitable partner from purchases made during the event as well as offering additional in-store refreshments and light appetizers.
The Shops at Highland Village chose Communities in Schools of North Texas because of its work with at-risk youth, according to a news release.
Registration for the Sip, Shop & Serve event and complimentary wine tasting will be located in the fountain area between Patrizio and Chico’s beginning at 6:30 p.m. Participants must be at least 21 years old and will be required to provide a valid driver’s license upon arrival.
