Colleges reach out to Liberty Christian students

Liberty Christian students saw more than 135 college representatives at the school’s annual college fair on Monday, Sept. 8.

Universities included Baylor University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Ohio State University, Purdue University, Southern Methodist University, Texas A&M University, Texas Christian University, University of Missouri, University of Oklahoma, The University of Texas, and West Point.

The entire school enjoyed the day as students as young as kindergarten proudly wore their jeans and favorite college T-shirt.

Sophomores to seniors met with representatives and came prepared with questions, such as “What are your most popular degree programs,” “What is your average class size,” “What percent of first year students return as sophomores,” and “What is the best thing about your school?”

Representatives received personal thank you notes created by Liberty’s fifth grade art students.

Representatives were also provided a catered lunch prior to the event.
