Signature Systems Group, LLC, is moving its corporate headquarters and regional distribution center to Flower Mound from New York City.

The relocation, expected by late 2014, will bring an estimated $840,000 in sales tax in the next five years, Flower Mound officials said.

The manufacturer of modular flooring and roadway systems will lease approximately 33,000 square feet of Crow Holdings Building A in the Lakeside Business District off Gerault Road.

Crow Holdings is building 580,000 square feet of industrial facilities at the southwest corner of Lakeside Parkway and Gerault Road. Signature Systems Group will be housed in the same building as Whitlock regional headquarters.

An estimated 30 full-time, high-paying positions will be brought to the community.

“We’re thrilled they are relocating to Texas and look forward to announcing even more corporations coming to our community,” Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Mike Walker said in a news release.

Whether it’s great schools, family-friendly quality of life, access to the airport and major highways, or an exceptional work force, Flower Mound has it all. We look forward to welcoming SSG (Signature Systems Group) to Texas and Flower Mound.”

The Lakeside Business District is a 1,500-acre campus commercial district with numerous business centers in southern Flower Mound. Flower Mound officials invested more than $25 million in road, water and wastewater infrastructure improvements in the district.
