The Flower Mound High School soccer team rocked Denton Ryan, 3-0, as they celebrated Senior Night and punched their ticket to the playoffs.
In a dominating performance, Taylor Smith started off the scoring in the first half after receiving a pass from Tyler McElwee. Taylor patiently waited for the goalie to commit, then zipped a shot passed the sprawling keeper that found the net.
Later in the first half, Kyle Mann hustled to beat the goalie to a ball near the top of the box. He got his foot on the ball just before the Ryan goalie leaving the shot to bound into an open net for a 2-0 lead.
After a Mann backflip and several minutes of good defense, the Jags took a halftime rest with a comfortable lead.
Seniors dominated the second half for the Jags with Andrew Hitscherich playing a starring role. Hitch lit the scoreboard with an upper ninety bender on a free kick from 30 yards.
