The Flower Mound Town Council on Monday night approved Heritage Park East as the location for the long-anticipated dog park project.
The 8-acre site, situated on the east side of Garden Ridge Boulevard and north of Spinks Road, will include a 3-acre area for large dogs and 2 acres for smaller breeds and comes with an estimated price tag of $700,000 to $800,000.
