Here is a list of recent calls for service from Lantana reported by the Denton County Sheriff’s Department:

Feb. 4
Burglary of Building/Forcible Entry – 9000 block of Cedar Ridge – A washer and dryer were stolen from inside a completed model home.

Feb. 5
Animal Bite – 1300 block of Fire Wheel Way – Dog bite.

Feb. 7
Burglary of Vehicle – 400 block of Perkins Dr. – Toyota RAV4 burglarized during the night while the vehicle was parked on the street in front of residence.

Burglary of Vehicle – 1300 block of Foster St.

Burglary of Vehicle – 500 block of Sheldon Rd – Unknown actor(s) broke passenger window and stole a radar detector.

Burglary of Vehicle – 300 block of Bentson Dr. – Unknown actor(s) stole two items from inside vehicle.

Burglary of Vehicle – 8800 block of Tyler Dr.

Burglary of Vehicle – 500 block of Bryn Ct.

Burglary of Vehicle – 8800 block of Tyler Dr.

Burglary of Vehicle – 9000 block of Blanco Dr.

Burglary of Vehicle – 400 block of Marshall Way – Vehicle’s glove compartment and center console ransacked and wallet valued at approximately $25 was stolen. Attempt was made on victim’s credit card at the Exxon Gas Station at FM 407 and FM 1830 and again the same day in Haltom City.

Burglary of Vehicle – 300 block of Spring Creek Dr – Unknown actor(s) broke the driver side window and stole a laptop

Burglary of Vehicle – 400 block of Perkins Dr – Unknown actor(s) stole wallet from vehicle.

Burglary of Vehicle – 300 block of Spring Creek Dr. – Unknown actor(s) broke the rear window of van and stole several items.

Feb. 9
Burglary of Vehicle – 800 block of Sheldon Rd. – A deputy was dispatched to assist Watauga PD with a recovered handicapped placard. It was discovered the placard was stolen from owner’s vehicle. A man and woman from Haltom City were arrested in connection to the vehicle burglary.

Burglary of Vehicle – 500 block of Kirby Dr. – A deputy was dispatched to a found property call and the deputy located the owner of the property. It was determined the owner was a victim of a motor vehicle burglary.

Feb. 10
Forgery – 7000 block of Justin Rd. – Complainant stated his daughter received a counterfeit $20 bill while at work.

Feb. 11
Possession of Marijuana – 7000 block of Justin Rd.- Deputies were dispatched to a traffic accident at the 7000 block of Justin Rd. Further investigation ended with two males from Double Oak and Southlake arrested for marijuana.

Feb. 14
Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse – 8700 block of Scarlet Trail – Unknown actor(s) used victim’s checking account information to withdraw funds from account.

Feb. 18
Theft By Deception – 8900 block of Crockett Dr. – Complainant reported sending money to an unknown actor for property never received.
