The Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce recognized those that have made major contributions to the community at its annual awards celebration Thursday at Le Beaux Chateau.
Longtime Flower Mound restaurateur Morris Salerno Jr. was presented the Cooper/MacMorran Spirit of Flower Mound Award. Salerno began his award-winning career in the 1970’s at the Fairmont Hotel in Dallas and opened Salerno’s Italian Restaurant in Flower Mound in 1985. He opened The Grotto Steakhouse in Highland Village in 1994 and just completed a renovation and name change to Bistecca Italian Steakhouse. See more photos from the event here.
