Argyle dedicates new fire station

The Argyle Volunteer Fire District held an open house and dedication ceremony–with an official hose decoupling in place of a ribbon cutting–on Saturday for Station 511 at Gibbons Road and FM 407 in Argyle.

The new 15,600 square-foot facility replaces the district’s fire station on Hwy 377 north of FM 407, which was built in 1973.

The AVFD provides fire, rescue, and emergency medical services to Argyle, Bartonville, Copper Canyon, Corral City, Lantana, Northlake and nearby unincorporated areas of Denton County.
