The Guyer football team made quick work of Saginaw on Friday night, defeating the Rough Riders by a score of 69-7 at Northwest ISD Stadium in the Class 4A Division I Bi-District round.
Jerrod Heard scored on runs of two and 47 yards, and Alex Honey caught two touchdown passes from Heard for 34 and seven yards.
Anthony Taylor rushed for two TD’s, and David Haynes scored twice in the game.
Guyer and Waco will square off in the next round of the postseason at a time and date to be determined.
