The Argyle football team made quick work against Krum Thursday evening, defeating the Bobcats 57-12 at C.H. Collins Athletic Complex in Denton.
Cole Hedlund may have been the story of the game, drilling five field goals (47, 36, 33, 27, and 22 yards) and setting the national high school record for career fields goals with 51.
Nick Ralston scored on two touchdown runs in the game and Chase Green caught two touchdown passes.
Brandon Boyzuick and Hunter Treadwell also scored for the Eagles in the game.
Argyle (11-0) will play Melissa in the area round of the playoffs at a time and date to be determined.
