09-18-2013 7:45 a.m. – Welfare Check – 100 blk., Park Lane, Double Oak – Witness observed an adult male wandering the streets of Double Oak and was concerned about his welfare. Officer located the individual and determined that things were okay and he was walking to the store.
09-18-2013 1:54 p.m. – Criminal Mischief – 200 blk. Rancho Vista Dr., Double Oak – Unknown person used force to damage the garage door by prying it open. No items were missing from the residence.
09-19-2013 2:13 a.m. – Theft – 100 blk. Cedarcrest Ln., Double Oak – Known person stole a motorcycle. Vehicle was later recovered by police at a hotel in Farmers Branch.
09-19-2013 1:53 p.m. – Ordinance Violation – 100 blk. Timberleaf Ct., Double Oak – Residents reported and officer’s contacted two door to door vendors without permits.
09-20-2013 4:01 p.m. – Ordinance Violation – 300 blk. Oak Trail, Double Oak – Officers attempted to locate a door to door vendor operating without a permit.
09-20-2013 8:56 p.m. – Narcotics Complaint – 2600 blk. E. FM 407, Bartonville – A witness reported that two unknown males tried to sell him drugs. Bartonville PD responded along with DOPD.
09-22-2013 1:37 a.m. – Assist Agency (Argyle) – 400 blk. N. Hwy 377, Argyle – Argyle officer requested a cover unit for a vehicle search.
09-22-2013 3:08 a.m. – Assist Agency (Arygyle) – 600 blk. Country Club Rd., Argyle – DOPD responded to request for assistance during the arrest of a suspected intoxicated driver.
09-22-2013 3:54 p.m. – Welfare Check – 300 blk. Oak Trail, Double Oak – Witness was concerned about a person’s welfare. Subject was transported to the hospital after speaking to the officer.
09-23-2013 7:50 p.m. – Solicitor Complaint – 1400 blk. Golf Club Dr., Lantana – Officer was unable to locate the solicitor.
09-23-2013 8:22 p.m. – Accident – FM 407, Denton County – Officer assisted County with investigating a motor vehicle accident.
09-24-2013 12:24 p.m. – Ordinance Violation, Double Oak – Door to door solicitor observed by officer and issued a warning citation and explanation regarding Town ordinances.
09-24-2013 12:56 p.m. – Theft – 300 blk. Waketon Rd., Double Oak – A resident reported several thousand dollars missing from her checking account.
09-25-2013 9:00 p.m. – Accident – 6600 blk. FM 407, Double Oak – Officer gave assistance to County units on a major accident requiring the shutting down of roads.
09-28-2013 8:29 p.m. – Burglary In Progress – 700 blk. Cross Timbers Rd., Double Oak – A female wearing a black shirt and shorts was observed trying to gain entry thought the front door of the residence. Further investigation revealed that the “suspect” was actually the homeowner.
09-22-2013 1:04 a.m. – Noise Complaint – 1200 blk. Chestnut Dr., Bartonville – Double Oak responded with Bartonville PD to investigate a noise complaint.
09-29-2013 11:33 a.m. – Criminal Mischief – 200 blk. Whistling Duck Ln., Double Oak – An unknown person poured chocolate syrup on a mailbox.
09-29-2013 10:21 p.m. – Criminal Mischief – 400 blk. Simmons, Double Oak – An unknown person damaged a mailbox with a vehicle.
09-30-2013 1:39 p.m. – Disturbance – 400 blk. Simmons Rd., Double Oak – Complaint about road rage between two motorists. Both drivers were contacted by police and released at the scene.
10-02-2013 12:05 p.m. – Traffic Complaint – 100 blk. Timberview, Double Oak – A resident reported that a moving truck knocked a branch off of their tree.
10-02-2013 1:00 p.m. – Theft – 200 blk. Cross Timbers, Double Oak – A resident reported the theft of a firearm and jewelry.
10-03-2013 10:35 a.m. – Disturbance – FM 407 and Tanglewood Dr., Double Oak – Denton County Dispatch broadcast a road rage incident in which a motorist pointed a pistol at another motorist in Argyle. Patrolling DOPD unit observed both vehicles on FM 407 and conducted a traffic stop with the assistance of Bartonville PD. Upon further investigation it was determined that the angry motorist had displayed a silver B.B. pistol at the other driver. Both drivers were interviewed by Argyle PD and then released at the scene.
10-05-2013 4:01 a.m. – Minors In Possession of Alcohol – 400 blk. Hwy. 377, Argyle – DOPD officer assisted Argyle PD with vehicle of young people who were in possession of alcohol. Multiple citations were issued.
10-06-2013 12:32 a.m. – Disturbance – 900 blk. Ranch Rd., Copper Canyon – Double Oak Officer assisted Sheriff’s department with large underage drinking party estimated at hundreds of participants. Upon officer arrival homeowners were contacted and the party was ended without incident.
10-10-2013 5:41 p.m. – Alarm – 400 blk. Spring Creek Dr., Lantana – Deputy was unable to answer a residential alarm in a timely manner. DOPD responded. No offense had occurred.
