08-01-2013 10:36 p.m. – Burglary – 100 blk. Twin Lakes, Double Oak – Reporting Party returned home after having been gone for approximately six weeks and found that a television and jewelry had been removed from the residence.
08-03-2013 12:28 p.m. – Open Door – 300 blk. E. Carruth, Double Oak – A citizen reported that a neighbor’s house was unsecure. Officers did not find any evidence of criminal activity.
08-03-2013 7:31 p.m. – Disturbance – 700 blk. Stone Crest, Argyle – Double Oak assisted with the investigation of a family disturbance. An arrest was made and the suspect was transported to Denton County Jail.
08-04-2013 10:06 a.m. – Accident – Hawk and Red Rock, Flower Mound – Double Oak officer assisted Flower Mound with investigation into a bicycle and vehicle collision.
08-04-2013 8:56 p.m. – Disturbance – 8700 blk. Cherry Lee, Lantana – A homeowner reported a large gathering of young males who appeared to be fighting. Upon arrival officers spoke to one of the involved parties and determined that it was a disturbance over skateboarding.
08-06-2013 11:42 p.m. – Water Main Break – 5900 blk. Chinn Chapel., Double Oak – Assisted in determining jurisdiction for a water main break repair. Officer contacted Bartonville Water Supply and remained on scene until their arrival.
08-08-2013 1:11 a.m. – Alarm – 100 blk. Eagles Nest, Double Oak – Neighbors reported hearing an audible alarm from a residence. Upon further investigation it was determined to be a water pump alarm.
08-08-2013 11:31 a.m. – Assist Fire Department – 200 blk. Lake Trail Ct., Double Oak – Officers assisted with medical call until arrival of paramedics and fire department personnel.
08-10-2013 4:48 p.m. – 911 Hangup – 3800 blk. Prairie Ct., Double Oak – Dispatch received a 9-1-1 call in which they could hear talking and crying. Upon further investigation it was determined that the call was accidentally made by an adult male and the crying was a two-year-old child.
08-11-2013 1:36 p.m. – Suspicious Circumstances – 500 blk. Simmons Rd., Double Oak – Officer notified of a possible blown transformer after a loud b
uzzing noise and then a boom. Caller contacted the electrical company and officer was unable to find a blown transformer.
