Upper Trinity accepting nominees for trustee

Upper Trinity Regional Water District (UTRWD) is accepting applications for an opening on the nine-member governing body for the Upper Trinity Conservation Trust (UTCT), a charitable conservancy whose mission is to help protect watersheds for water supply sources.

The appointment as an unpaid trustee would be for a three-year term.  To protect scarce water resources for future generations, UTCT works with individual landowners, communities and developers to preserve riparian and other lands along and near waterways.

Upper Trinity serves more than 25 communities in the Denton County area.

Interested persons should have a passion for protection and preservation of water and land resources within watersheds and a willingness to help raise funds in support of UTCT.  To learn more, visit www.utct.org

Application forms are available online or at UTRWD, 900 North Kealy, Lewisville, Texas 75057.  For more information, contact Jason Pierce by email at [email protected] or 972-219-1228.
