Lady Jags move to regional quarterfinals

The Flower Mound softball team swept Belton out of the area round of the playoffs, edging the Lady Tigers 10-9 Friday night.

Annelise Oswalt was the winning pitcher and collected a double for Flower Mound, while teammate Sydney Springfield also doubled as the Lady Jaguars totaled 13 hits.

The win could set up a meeting with crosstown rival Marcus in the regional quarterfinal if the Lady Marauders can defeat Mansfield Timberview on Saturday.
