Both the Liberty Christian boys and girls basketball teams moved one step closer to state championships on Saturday
The boys squad defeated San Antonio Central Catholic by a score of 63-50.
The Warriors moved to 32-6 on the season with the victory.
LCS will take on FW Nolan in the state semifinals at 9 p.m. on March 1 at Timberview High School in Mansfield.
The Lady Warriors cruised to a 20 point victory against San Antonio Antonian, winning 53-33 to advance to the state semifinals.
Sydney Goodson led the team in scoring with 19 points, while Rebekah Hand added 13 and Rayvon Christian scored 10 points in the game.
Hannah Hand and Kendall Ellig combined for 11 points for Liberty Christian.
The Lady Warriors improved to 24-14 on the season with the victory, and will take on Houston St. Agnes at 6 p.m. on March 1 at Timberview High School in Mansfield.
