01-23-2013 9:30 p.m. – Shots Fired – 6200 blk. Pepperport Ln., Double Oak – Officer was unable to locate the source of the reported gunshots.
01-24-2013 1:10 a.m. – Assist Agency (Sheriff’s Department) – 1100 blk. Central Way, Lantana – Double Oak Officer assisted deputies with resolving a welfare concern call.
01-25-2013 2:24 p.m. – Assist Agency (Flower Mound) – Shiloh and McMakin, Flower Mound – Double Oak Officer witnessed a vehicle accident involving a Sports Utility Vehicle rear ending a motorcycle in Flower Mound. Officer remained on scene, directing traffic, during the investigation of the collision by Flower Mound Police Department.
01-26-2013 8:34 p.m. – Suspicious Subjects – 200 blk. Kings Rd., Double Oak – Call regarding three males walking down the street near Lusk with toilet paper in their hands. Officer was unable to locate the suspects.
01-27-2013 5:41 a.m. – Alarm – 8400 blk. Canyon Crossing, Lantana – Double Oak Officer responded to residential alarm call in Lantana. No criminal activity detected.
01-28-2013 3:39 p.m. – Reckless Driver – 7800 blk. Justin Rd., Denton Cnty. – A motorist reported a reckless driver of FM 407. Officer was unable to locate the unsafe driver.
01-29-2013 3:14 p.m. – Electrical Fire – 300 blk. Kings Rd., Double Oak – Witness reported possible electrical fire on power pole. Officer was unable to locate any fire.
01-29-2013 2:42 p.m. – Alarm – 300 blk. Kings Rd., Double Oak – Officers responded to an audible residential alarm. There were no signs of criminal activity.
01-30-2013 3:45 p.m. – Fraud – 300 blk. Thornhill Cir., Double Oak – A resident reported a check fraud scheme.
01-30-2013 3:44 p.m. – Alarm / Open Door – 400 blk. Wolf Rd., Bartonville – Double Oak assisted Bartonville Officers with clearing an open residence at the owner’s request.
01-30-2013 7:28 p.m. – Assist Agency (Disturbance Call) – 900 blk. Terrace Dr., Lantana – Double Oak and Bartonville Officers secured the scene until Sheriff’s Officer could arrive to handle a disturbance.
01-30-2013 7:19 p.m. – Welfare Concern – 300 blk. Waketon Rd., Double Oak – A resident called with concerns about family members and his home while he was out of town.
02-01-2013 9:01 p.m. – Abandoned Vehicle – 300 blk. E. Carruth Ln., Double Oak – Motorist left a stranded vehicle in the neighborhood. A “48hr notice” form was placed on the vehicle and the owner was contacted.
02-01-2013 8:29 p.m. – Suspicious Vehicle – 4500 blk. Mahogany Ln., Copper Canyon – Double Oak Officer responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle. Officer was unable to locate the car.
02-02-2013 7:19 p.m. – Harassment – 100 blk. Fox Trot Ln., Double Oak – Complainant reported harassment through social media.
02-03-2013 1:41 p.m. – Major Accident – FM407 and Copper Canyon Rd., Denton Cnty – Officer assisted Texas Department of Public Safety with investigation of an accident that occurred on F.M. 407.
02-03-2013 10:20 p.m. – 911 Hang-up – 300 blk. E. Carruth Ln., Double Oak – Officer met with residents at the location and everything was “ok”.
02-05-2013 10:00 p.m. – Alarm – 600 blk. Simmons Rd., Double Oak – Officer contacted regarding possible recovery of “K2”. Upon further investigation it was determined that the material in question was tobacco related.
02-06-2013 12:17 a.m. – Assist Agency (Flower Mound) – 7900 blk. F.M. 407, Denton County – Flower Mound had broadcast information about a possibly intoxicated adult male walking on 407 and flagging down motorists. Double Oak Officer located the adult male, who had been drinking and was lost. A responsible adult friend was located who responded to the scene and took responsibility for the subject.
02-08-2013 9:17 p.m. – Street Blockage – 800 blk. Cross Timbers Dr., Double Oak – On duty officer was contacted regarding vehicles obstructing lanes of traffic on Cross Timbers. A homeowner was contacted and the guests moved their vehicles.
02-09-2013 3:07 p.m. – Burning Complaint – 300 blk. Cross Timbers Dr., Double Oak – A resident notified police about a neighbor burning leaves and the smoke coming on to their property. Fire was extinguished.
02-10-2013 3:46 p.m. – Alarm – 8100 blk. Justin Rd., Double Oak – Alarm triggered by an unsecure door. No criminal activity detected.
02-10-2013 4:18 p.m. – Agency Assist (Flower Mound) – 100 blk. Oakview, Double Oak – Flower Mound requested assistance with locating a resident who had been involved in a minor accident in their city.
02-10-2013 5:09 p.m. – Motorist Assist – 100 blk. Dixon Ln. – Officer checked on the welfare of a motorist with an overheated car.
02-10-2013 2:15 p.m. – Traffic Complaint – 400 blk. Kings Rd., Double Oak – Citizen had questions about roller skating on a public street.
02-13-2013 5:31 p.m. – Accident – 500 blk. Waketon Rd., Double Oak – Three car accident, no injuries.
02-14-2013 8:59 p.m. – Suspicious Activity – 100 blk. Timberleaf Ct., Double Oak – A resident reported young males in the street. Upon further investigation it was determined that they were Boy Scouts delivering supplies to another Scout’s residence.
