Following its 47-37 victory in the bi-district round on Tuesday night against Boswell, the Guyer girls basketball team came up just a bit short against Waco in their area round game Friday evening, losing 47-41 to the Lady Lions.
Guyer wrapped up the season with a 22-9 overall record and second place finish in 5-4A competition.
Quamese Moss led the Lady Wildcats this season with 11.8 points and 3 rebounds per game.
Bre Wickware led the team in rebounding, averaging 7.7 per game.
Guyer loses just three seniors this season, and Moss will be back in 2014.
