There will be a little more spirit at Argyle High School basketball games this season with the addition of the newly-formed Argyle Pom Squad.
The squad consists of 24 girls that focus on dancing at halftime during the boy’s varsity basketball games. They also plan to perform at some of the girl’s basketball games and other spring sports, according to Argyle ISD spokesperson, Pam Arrington.
The girls performed in December at a University of North Texas men’s basketball game during halftime at the Super Pit on the UNT campus in Denton.
