Argyle ISD trustee Brenda Alexander resigned from the school board on Aug. 6. Board members approved her resignation at their regular meeting on Monday.
Alexander was first elected to the school board in May 2007. No reason was given for her resignation.
Her term was set to expire in May 2013, and it will be determined at the next school board meeting whether Alexander’s seat will be filled before the next term, or remain vacant until the May 2013 election.
