Double Oak Police Calls

Recent calls reported by the Double Oak Police Department:

06-01-2012  11:27 a.m. – Suspicious Vehicle – 100 blk. Hawk Crest Ln. – A resident reported an unknown vehicle at his neighbor’s house (the neighbors were out of town).  Upon further investigation it was determined that the vehicle belonged to the son of the persons out of town.

06-01-2012  2:35 p.m. – Loud Music / Underage Drinking Complaint – 300 blk. Highland Rd. – Officers responded to a call regarding loud music and underage persons drinking.  Subjects went indoors upon officer arrival.

06-02-2012  11:58 p.m. – Juvenile Party – 300 blk. Wooded Court, Argyle – Officers responded to complaint of a loud party.  Parents of the juveniles were contacted.

06-04-2012  9:48 p.m. – Theft – 100 blk. Lake Trail Dr. – A homeowner reported approximately $5,000 worth of jewelry stolen.

06-04-2012  9:31 a.m. – Criminal Mischief – 300 blk. Cedar Crest Ln. –  Complainant reported that an unknown person had flung animal feces on to her roof.

06-04-2012  3:00 p.m. – Theft of Service – 2600 blk. FM 407 – Business owner reported that a known suspect had secured approximately $5,000 dollars worth of services and then failed to pay.

06-09-2012  11:36 a.m. – Possession of Two Identifications –  300 blk. Simmons Rd. – During a traffic stop it was determined that a motorist had two different government identification cards.  The motorist was cited for a traffic violation and the identification card belonging to another person was placed into police department evidence.

06-09-2012  11:52 p.m. – Intoxicated Person – 800 Golf Club Dr., Lantana – Officers responded to reports of an intoxicated person at a wedding.  Subject was gone prior to officer arrival.

06-12-2012  11:18 p.m. – Prowler Call – 1200 blk. Dayton Dr., Lantana – Officer responded to reports of a known person in the callers backyard taking photographs.  Subject departed prior to officers arrival.

06-14-2012  9:02 a.m. – Warrant Arrest – 4700 blk. Shiloh Rd. –  During a traffic stop it was determined that a male motorist was wanted for outstanding traffic warrants.  He was taken into custody and transported to the Denton County Jail.
