Jared Tynes, a U.S. Army Blackhawk helicopter pilot, made a surprise homecoming Friday at Merryhill School in Flower Mound after spending nine months in South Korea.
Tynes’s two daughters, pre-K student, Hailey, and infant student, Abby, were celebrating Earth Day and were preparing to release 1,500 ladybugs when their father made his surprise visit.
Tynes will be home for three weeks of rest and relaxation before heading back to South Korea for his final three month assignment overseas.
