Double Oak Police Calls

Recent calls reported by the Double Oak Police Department:

02-24-2012  7.59 a.m. – Audible Alarm – 100 blk. Meadow Knoll Dr. – An officer responding to an alarm call found an open door on the residence.  A search of the property was conducted and no sign of criminal activity was found.

02-25-2012  11:02 p.m. – Burglary In Progress – 200 blk. Cross Timbers Dr. – A resident reported an unknown person ringing the doorbell multiple times, shaking the doorknob and triggering the residential alarm.  Neighbors informed responding officers they had seen six or seven teenage boys running around ringing doorbells.

02-25-2012  12:08 p.m. – Assist Agency (Suspicious Person) – 400 blk. Santa Fe Trail, Argyle – Double Oak Officer provided assistance to Argyle PD with the search for a suspicious person in a residential neighborhood.

02-26-2012  9:15 a.m. – Disturbance – 100 blk. Lake Trail Dr. – Disturbance between family members.

02-27-2012  2:39 p.m. – Alarm – 300 blk. Simmons Rd. – Officer responded to an alarm call and was met by a realtor at the residence.

02-28-2012  5:05 p.m. – Suspicious Person – 5000 blk. Lusk Ln. – A resident reported an unknown white female with brown hair, in her driveway, asking if the house were vacant.  The unknown person departed in a white mini-van.

03-01-2012  9:31 p.m. – Assist Agency (Unsecure Houses) – 1500 blk. Conner Way, Lantana – Double Oak Officer assisted Deputy with searching unsecure and vacant houses.

03-04-2012  6:38 p.m. – Assist Agency (Missing Juvenile) – 900 blk. Rolling Acres Dr. – Double Oak Officers assisted with search for missing eleven year old male.  Juvenile was found in Highland Village.

03-05-2012  4:10 p.m. – Meet Complainant – 100 blk. Whistling Duck – Seven year old male reported that four months ago, while waiting for the school bus, a Hispanic male wearing a black shirt, and driving a black car approached him and asked if he wanted to sit in the car because it was cold.  Subject left the bus stop when reporting party declined to sit in the car.
