Crews knock down barn blaze

Firefighters from Argyle, Denton, Double Oak, Flower Mound and Highland Village battled a barn fire Wednesday afternoon on East Jernigan Road in Copper Canyon. Despite strong winds, firefighters contained the blaze to the two-story structure and kept it from spreading to a nearby horse barn and house. Other than a lone brick wall still standing, the barn was completely destroyed.
